Second Saturday at the Blantons

July 8th

Every second Saturday, come hang on the Blanton’s new Moody Patio. Enjoy live DJ sets on the museum’s redesigned grounds and a variety of programs throughout the museum, from tours to poetry readings to pop-up exhibitions. Local food and drinks for sale; picnics encouraged. Galleries open till 8 p.m.

McDade Watermelon Festival

July 8th

The McDade Watermelon Festival is the 2nd Saturday of JULY. Start at 7 am w/ watermelon weigh-in, Parade at 10:30 am on Main St in the historic area. Festivities on the Grounds 11 am til dark. car show 8 am - 2 pm on the East side of the Festival Grounds.

Friday Flicks: Best In Show

July 14th

Join us for a pawty in the park and enjoy a free outdoor screening of Best in Show! Enjoy audience contests, live music, and family-friendly activities! The party includes an ice cream and pup cup vendor, a doggie costume contest, a photo booth, local pet vendors, and an exceptional performance of Forklift Danceworks’ Dances for Dogs and People Who Walk Them! The movie will begin at sunset.

Cars and Coffee

July 16th

Cars and Coffee Austin is fun for the whole family with an eclectic showing of Texas’ finest automobiles. Classics, racecars, exotics, hot rods, muscle cars, tuners, off-roaders, JDM, alternative energy—you name it, they’re here. Cars and Coffee is a free event for spectators on select Sundays at Circuit of The Americas.

Blues on the Green

July 18-19th

Blues on the Green (or BOTG) is Austin’s favorite summer tradition! Be a part of the annual FREE concert series and join ACL Radio at Zilker Park to catch performances from your favorite artists. Grab your blankets, sunscreen and friends and we’ll see you there!
